There were a number of yogurt shops that began popping up in the U.S. in the mid-aughts, all of them trying to push boundaries and reinvent flavors. Many of these upstarts fell by the wayside, but some, like Yogurtland, continue to thrive today. Since opening up in Irvine in 2006, Yogurtland has wowed the masses with a decidedly eclectic menu of flavors that puts the competition to shame. Those who want to take their test buds out for a spin, and are up for a little adventure, can come down to any Yogurtland location and see what the mad scientists of swirly goodness are up to.

And believe it or not all Yogurtland yogurt is made using ingredients with zero hormones or antibiotics. Taking in all these flavors, it’s no surprise that folks are intrigued. While Yogurtland definitely pride themselves on their overactive imagination, they also realize that their bold flavors are subject to the approval of their customer base. That’s why they are always eager for feedback. Not only do they offer the survey, but they also conducted blind taste test in 15 of their different stores using nine Yogurtland flavors compared with nine of the other guys’. The result? Seven out of ten folks chose Yogurtland yogurt over the competition. It’s because Yogurtland is such a fan favorite that they’ve franchised out to locations throughout the United States.
